(5TH AND 6TH GRADES)

Heart to Heart Christian Academy (5th–6th grade (Intermediate)) is designed to prepare students for middle school and follows a closely supervised schedule.

One of the highlights of both divisions is our Bible curriculum, Hearts Anchored in Christ (taught in 1st through 6th grades), which is designed to help students develop a strong biblical worldview. All other content areas in both schools are taught through the lens of Scripture. We select Christian publishers for our textbooks primarily from Bob Jones University Press, along with some Abeka materials in the lower grades. Reading in our early grades is launched with a strong phonics-based program. Our Accelerated Reader program has created excitement for reading as students earn incentives for going above and beyond.

 

Our test results demonstrate that a Heart to Heart education works, with students consistently meeting their set goals on standardized tests. Beyond the classroom, our students enjoy field trips and assemblies, and each classroom participates in annual community outreach projects.
