Welcome to Heart to Heart Christian Academy. The mission of the Heart to Heart is to serve as a ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ by providing youth with the opportunity for a quality Christian education and striving for excellence in spiritual, academic, social, and physical development. We believe that every student is designed by God for a specific purpose in this life; we seek to assist parents in molding character and training Godly leaders who will impact the people they touch for Jesus Christ.
As a school focused on educating our young leaders, our teachers, administration, and board understand and appreciate the unique nature of education for our children. With challenging programs designed to inspire, motivate, and stretch our students, Immanuel Academy of Excellence is where youth can be themselves, develop respect for others, and learn what it means to be a man of true character and integrity. During the past three years, I have developed a profound appreciation for and love of our students and teachers. While excellence and achievement are prevalent in programs and activities across the campus, it is the character of the people that define our School – faculty who care deeply about their charges and students who give freely to one another to strengthen the sense of community continually. Courage and Honor are two words commonly used to describe the ethos of our campus. As the School motto, these terms remind us what values underpin our mission and daily work.
If you visit our school you will quickly see that we have some of the strongest academic, athletic, artistic, and extracurricular programs imaginable. Our boys learn from teachers who are not only leaders in their fields, but are also individuals who truly love their work. St. Mark’s is a community that works together and is driven by a common purpose.

Our School’s Story

Heart to Heart Christian Academy exists to lead students to know Christ personally and to make Him known in their homes, communities, and throughout the world.

Founded 20 years ago by Bishop Billy White and Dr. Juanita White, Heart to Heart Christian Academy was established with a clear mission — to provide a Christ-centered education that develops both the heart and mind. What began as a vision shared by two passionate leaders has grown into a thriving K4/K5–8th grade school serving families in Jacksonville, Florida.
In late 2024, Bishop Billy White and Dr. Juanita White retired from the day-to-day operations of the Academy to focus on full-time ministry. They entrusted the mission and leadership of the school to Lynn Griffin Sr. and Theresa Griffin, who continue to carry forward the vision with the same commitment to academic excellence, spiritual growth, and Christian service.
Over the past two decades, Heart To Heart has nurtured and graduated students who have gone on to excel in high school, college, and beyond — serving in their churches, communities, and professions with excellence and integrity. Many have pursued careers as educators, healthcare professionals, entrepreneurs, ministry leaders, and missionaries. The Biblical worldview and servant-leadership principles they learned here continue to impact lives for Christ across the globe.

Heart to Heart Christian Academy maintains a tradition of academic achievement, with students consistently performing above national averages on standardized assessments. Our curriculum integrates rigorous academics with spiritual formation, preparing students not only for future educational success but also for a lifetime of faith and service.
Our pledge is to equip every student with the knowledge, skills, and character necessary to thrive in high school, college, and life. Through small class sizes, individualized attention, and a caring environment, our faculty and staff — many of whom hold advanced degrees — cultivate a love for learning while modeling the love of Christ.
