Heart to Heart Christian Academy’s Elementary School serves students in 1st–4th grades in self-contained classrooms that follow a traditional structure while incorporating enrichment opportunities. Students benefit from special classes in art, computer, music, library, and P.E. One of the highlights of our program is our Bible curriculum, Hearts Anchored in Christ, taught in grades 1–4, which is designed to help students develop a biblical worldview. All other subject areas are also taught through the lens of Scripture. Our textbooks are selected from leading Christian publishers such as Bob Jones University Press and Abeka, with a strong phonics-based approach to reading in the early grades. The Accelerated Reader program inspires students to excel in reading, earning incentives for going above and beyond. Every student utilizes technology in the classroom and enjoys computer lab lessons.

Our test results demonstrate the strength of a Heart to Heart education, with students consistently scoring above average on standardized tests. Beyond the classroom, students enjoy field trips, assemblies, and annual community outreach projects.

The school day begins with pledges, songs, and prayer. Core subjects—math, English, reading, science, social studies, writing, and handwriting—are taught alongside daily Bible lessons. Students also attend weekly chapel services and enjoy P.E., music, art, and library time, plus occasional field trips. Technology integration, hands-on projects, and a nurturing Christian environment work together to prepare our students for lifelong learning and faith.

Optional yearly activities include Math Bowl, Art Festival, Harvest Fair, Spelling Bee, pep rallies, Science Fair, Grandparents’ Day, Speech Meet, Banquets, and our Walk-a-Thon.
